I think we are going to get a Heavenly Sword 2 regardless.
Halo is the Xbox, but the Xbox is not Halo.
If Halo 3 is decent then the Xbox 360 can continue on at current pace. If Halo 3 sucks bad then Xbox 360 sales slow to a crawl.
A review is USA Today is lightyears more important than any review in any video game magazine or website.

I am pretty sure that Sony owns the God of War property. So it won't be switching.

It looks like Tecmo used the Sigma, poor Japanese 360 sales, and the threat of jumping platforms to leverage financial compensation from Microsoft if they wanted to keep the game exclusive.
It wasn't hard to predict that Microsoft would pay to keep NG2 exclusive, it is the third trademark Game of the console, I love being right.

God of War 3 will look better then DMC4 and Ninja Gaiden 2.
Heavenly Sword looks better the screens/videos of DMC4 and NG2. God of War 3 will have advantages that neither of the 3 have. Because of that it will look better than all three games.
1. It is the flagship PS3 hack and slash title, thus it will have a bigger budget than Heavenly Sword.
2. It will be developed and released later, thus it will have the benefit of other PS3 games trial and err...

also better for games that require you to use all eight buttons. The current 360 controller is better than the controller-S was but the left and right bumpers still feel a bit out of place. Going from left bumper to left trigger feels bad and is a bit too difficult, the same goes for the right hand. .
This is a simple case of trying to stop the PS3 from getting momentum. North America is the Xbox home ground and last stand so of course they are going to fight for it. If PS3 gets a reputation of releasing 2 AAA titles a month then PS3 is going to win in North America also. It sounds like there is only one problem with this game, the control scheme. That can be fixed in a patch though. I would suspect that Factor 5 is working on this right now sense the reviews are so bad.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma is actually a AAA title also. The important parts of it have already been released though, but then Oblivion has already been released also.
The PS3 is more powerful by a significant margin. The only component on the 360 that is comparable is the graphics processor. Other than that every component is more powerful on the PS3. The PS3 has a better processor, better drive, standard hard drive, etc.
